Love, love, love this idea! Remember the spare bedroom I was talking to you about before? I made this pillow to go on the bed and it is super easy! It really is a no sew pillow!
What you will need:
- old pillow of your choice
- fabric
I had extra fabric left from the bed skirt I made. You can find that tutorial here. The extra fabric was more of a rectangle than a square but I’m sure you can use either. Take the fabric and lay it upside down on the floor. Place your pillow on top of the fabric. I’m holding the pillow up in this picture but it needs to be laying flat on the ground. You want the pillow to be in the middle of the fabric and the fabric to be in a diamond shape.
Take the top piece of fabric and wrap it around the pillow.
And tuck it under the pillow.
Take the bottom piece and wrap it around the pillow.
And tuck it under.
Take both sides and tie them together.
And again.
You might have to turn the “ears’ of the knot so the right side is showing. Almost done! When you lift the pillow there should still be fabric hanging from the back.
Take that fabric and fold it into the front where the knot is.
And make it look pretty! Smoothing out the bottom and top to into the knot.
And you have your no sew pillow! Great thing about this is you haven’t ruined the fabric or the pillow. It can easily be taken apart and redone with different fabric and you can still use the fabric that is taken off!
